Western Red Cedar (Thuja Plicata)

Over the past few decades Western Red Cedar has been on of the most popular external/internal claddings due to its rich and variable colours, high resistance to decay, durability and natural preservatives. Left unstained or unvarnished cedar will turn silvery grey. Alternatively Cedar can be stained with Sikkens or other products to maintain the rich colours.

Western Red Cedar can be machined to any of our profiles (see profile page) or even sawn to a featheredge board to give the rustic look.
