Bennetts Timber is a family run timber company located in Grimsby, Lincolnshire that has been trading since 1804. As a specialist timber importer, merchant and saw miller we have grown a national reputation for quality, experience and service.
Timber Cladding specialists
Over the past 20 years Bennetts Timber have specialised in External Timber Claddings to both the commercial and domestic markets.
We have a large range of profiles and can also design profiles to suit our customers specific needs. Also our sales team can advise on which best profile to use for the applications, and any fixing advise.
We hold a large amount of materials used for claddings, Western Red Cedar, Siberian Larch, Thermowood, Oak, and can source non stock species such as Cumaru, Iroko, Idigbo and Accoya within a few days.
Our Milling facilities have just been updated with brand new Weinig moulder, which is being used specifically for cladding. This significant investment has already improved our lead times and quality of finish.
Flexible Service
We pride ourselves on our flexibility being able to meet our customers demands, in supplying both standard and non standard items. Our on site sawmill can produce any non-standard profiles promptly, making sure work on the construction sites we deliver to is not delayed.
Technical experience
All of our sales team have worked at Bennetts Timber for at least twenty years, and with their vast knowledge of the trade they are able to help customers on any technical issues or advise on what products to use for particular purposes. We can offer our assistance to the non trade people building a deck to architects specifying materials for large construction projects with the same amount of professionalism.
Nationwide delivery
Our Grimsby site is ideally situated close to the busy Humber ports where most of our timber is shipped to. This prime location reduces transportation times into our facility and on to our customers. Our UK wide delivery service is a key part of the business. We have Hiab facilities for off loading large orders, smaller lorries and vans for those restricted access sites or residential property.
